Located in the historic area of Michaux in Powhatan County, Virginia, Birdland is a work-in-progress venue of magical sculpture gardens, meandering pathways, and a working art studio. The main house is a recently completed carpenters cottage situated on two acres and surrounded by the Miles House built in 1811, the historic St. James Chapel, and the designated Virginia scenic byway of Old River Trail. A wide variety of experiences are offered through our diverse collection of sculpture and art by Virginia native Mark Staples. Sculpture, prints and paintings are available both for sale and for viewing. |
