Birdland Sculpture Gardens is available as a destination venue for your wedding or special event. Located in the historic region of Michaux in northern Powhatan County, Virginia, Birdland is a luxurious estate that reminds one of European graciousness combined with the American spirit. The property features magical sculpture gardens, meandering pathways, and a working art studio. The custom-built, gothic revival style main house, carriage house, sculpture studio, and garden stable are situated on three manicured acres. Located near the James River, Birdland has on its borders the Miles House built in 1811, the historic St. James Chapel, and the designated Virginia scenic byway of Old River Trail. |
